The numbers tell the story...

Why did the Jaguars miss the playoffs this year and only win 8 games? The answer is in the passing game, the punt coverage teams and the Houston Texans. 
  • The Jaguars gave up two punt returns for TDs that dirrectly led to two road losses (Indianapolis & Buffalo).
  • The starting QB Leftwich can never stay healthy and the backup has proven he is just that, a backup. Three straight losses at the end of the season killed the Jags.
  • The Jaguars lost twice to the 4-12 Houston Texans.
